Intense and fruitful collaboration of Siberian improvisation formation SIC! and Saint-Petrsburg based experimental musician Ilia Belorukov began in spring of 2012, and since then they constantly interact in various projects and often perform on one stage. This disc is their 3rd common release already. The album consists of fragments of two improvisational record sessions made on May 20th and 28th 2012 at Spina!rec studio in St. Petersburg, and is the second part of Live / Studio dilogy (Live is a digital release that has also appeared on Akt-
Produkt: akt-produkt.bandcamp.com/album/live [akt-produkt 12]).

Records on this disc feature the development of the ideas of precedent joint Siberian concerts: here’s also a mix of abstract electroacoustic improvisation, psychedelia and post-literature. The last track suddenly sounds like a sort of atavistic blues. And all this in whole reminds of the beginnings of some strange conversation – if this could be called a conversation – a conversation that is always yet to be, that lacks either words or gestures or something similar to words or gestures, – this could be a manner of conversation of fishes thrown outside of the water, if this could still matter to them.

Плотное и плодотворное сотрудничество сибирской импровизационной формации SIC! и петербургского звукового экспериментатора Ильи Белорукова началось весной 2012 года, с тех пор музыканты постоянно взаимодействуют в различных проектах и часто выступают на одной сцене. Этот диск уже третий их совместный релиз. Альбом составлен из фрагментов двух импровизационных сессий, записанных 20 и 28 мая 2012 на студии Spina!rec в Санкт-Петербурге, и представляет собой вторую часть дилогии Live / Studio (Live – цифровой релиз, также вышедший на Акт-Продукте: akt-produkt.bandcamp.com/album/live [akt-produkt 12]).

В музыкальном плане эти записи развивают идеи предшествовавших совместных сибирских концертов: здесь также присутствует смесь абстрактного электроакустического импрова, психоделии и пост-литературы. Последний трек неожиданным образом напоминает атавистический блюз. И в целом всё это похоже на начатки какого-то странного разговора – если, конечно, это можно назвать разговором, – разговора всегда ещё только предстоящего, для которого не хватает ни слов, ни жестов, ни чего-либо напоминающего слова и жесты, – так могли бы разговаривать выброшенные на сушу рыбы, если бы им было до этого дело.
